Flame spraying





This method enables to produce deposits of a few tenths up to several millimeters thick with a porosity rate of 2 up to 15%.

Particle velocity can reach 100 m /s, the pull-out resistance of a coating up to 50Mpa.

A method widely used for anti-corrosion.



                                                               Process of thermal spraying in which the heat required to melt the

filler product is obtained by burning a mix of oxygen with the fuel gas (oxy-fuel flame), the filler material melted then being sprayed on the piece by a carrier fluid (compressed air).


The filler material is in the form of wire or powder.
